Ansh builds large-scale projects end to end: finding and validating difficult data, designing the underlying system and methodology, building the public interface, and operating the finished product.

His public work includes Reddit Atlas, a year-by-year map derived from Reddit aggregates covering 24.88 billion posts and comments; The Artisanal Tax, which turns 5,615,271 public menu rows into neighborhood-level price comparisons across 500 dishes and 219 New York City areas; and DONGs Gallery, a curated archive of 1,044 web experiments, games, tools, and curiosities.

The projects range from data-intensive civic and cultural maps to real-time multiplayer games and autonomous AI experiments. Unless a project says otherwise, the work listed here was designed, built, and deployed by Ansh.

Selected work

• Reddit Atlas: Maps Reddit communities from 2006 through 2025 using shared user participation rather than text similarity. Its yearly source aggregates cover 24.88 billion posts and comments, with a public methodology and quality-assurance reports.
• New New York: A continuously maintained map of newly recorded and recently closing New York City restaurants. It combines open place datasets, verified community submissions, editorial-source monitoring, and human review rather than treating a single roundup as a database.
• The Artisanal Tax: Converts 5,615,271 public menu rows into an interactive comparison of prices for 500 dishes across 219 New York City neighborhoods.
• Lot Shot: A daily and endless higher-or-lower game built from verified blue-chip artwork auction records, focused on the strange relationship between art and money.
• DONGs Gallery: Preserves and curates 1,044 websites featured by VSauce, including screenshots, descriptions, editorial tags, ratings, and archived replacements for destinations lost to link rot or Flash.
• Fourcorners: A shareable quadrant-chart maker for placing anything on two custom axes, with reusable templates, public galleries, and stable result URLs.
• Crosswars: A real-time player-versus-player crossword race with temporary rooms, synchronized progress over WebSockets, rematches, and a single-player daily mode.

Smaller artifacts

• Rendezvous: Two autonomous AI agents navigate New York City through Street View while trying to find one another, communicating through a single shared sequence of wordless drawings, built to explore agentic AI systems and emergent LLM behavior.
• Endless Door: A hand-drawn interactive door that reveals another door every time it opens.
• NYC Autumn Foliage: A WebGL animation of 652,168 living New York City street trees across 132 species changing color through a modeled autumn.
• US Voter Turnout: An interactive state-by-state turnout explorer spanning presidential elections from 1972 through 2024 and reconciling two differently defined public datasets.

Research in progress

• Superforecaster: an auditable research harness for AI probabilistic forecasting and submissions to ForecastBench.
